The Energy Alignment Method – EAM®

One of the tools we love to use is The Energy Alignment Method – EAM®.

EAM is more than just a healing technique; it is a way of life. Using this tool, you can very quickly let go of repetitive thoughts and overwhelming emotions. You can also use it to help clear physical and emotional pain.

Its foundation can be found in elements of Kinesiology, neuroscience research, NLP, Positive Psychology and Eastern Spiritual principles.  It was created by the amazing Yvette Taylor as a self-help technique after years of working in energy medicine, the Law of Attraction, and traditional Chinese Medicine.

Using a form of Applied Kinesiology, known in EAM as “THE SWAY”, you use your body as a pendulum to find the root cause of your issues and release negative feelings, painful memories, and traumatic experiences.

You can use EAM to free you from stress, anxiety, and feelings of overwhelm around any issue in your life.

Once these are removed from your energy you are free to replace them with positive thoughts and emotions that will propel you forward in a life that you choose to create.

 

 

THE 5 STEPS OF THE ENERGY ALIGNMENT METHOD – EAM®

 

Using your body as a pendulum, you can get ‘YES’ or ‘NO’ answers from your energy.

Think about something which may have been troubling you. Stand with your feet hips width apart, close your eyes and relax your knees.

STEP 1 – YOU ASK

This step is to give you clarity on what you need to shift. Ask your energy a simple question to see if it’s something you need to work on.

For example, ‘Am I holding any resistance or worry when I think about loosing weight?’

STEP 2 – YOU MOVE

Your energy body will respond and give you the YES or NO answer to the question you asked.

Forwards is usually (YES) and Backwards is usually (NO). If anything else check for energy reversal.

If YES go to step 3 if NO and you feel in flow with it go to step 5.

STEP 3 – YOU EXPERIENCE

This step is all about assessing what is happening in your energy when you think about that subject.

There are 3 ways for you to do this step – choose which is appropriate for you.

HOW DO YOU FEEL?

Describe what it feels like in your body.
What size colour or shape is it? Where is it? What does it fee like?

HOW MANY OF THEM?

Using the sway find a specific number of those resistances eg.
Do I have more than 100?” (The sway will say yes or no).
If NO you may ask.
Do I have more than 50?” (The sway will say yes or no).
If NO you may ask.
Do I have more than 25?” (The sway will say yes or no).
If YES you may ask.
Do I have more than 30?” (The sway will say yes or no).
If NO … find the number. You don’t always have to get the specific number but you get the idea.

HOW DOES IT LOOK IN YOUR MIND?

When you close your eyes and think about your resistance or challenge do you see a picture?
Describe what is happening in the picture

STEP 4 – YOU TRANSFORM

Now you’re clear what it feels like in your body, how many there are or what the picture looks like you can now do the release statement. You can say these words:

“I am ready to release (whatever the subject) I release it from my energy in all forms, on all levels at all points in time”

Repeat this statement at least 3 times or until you can no longer feel it. You may have do this another 2 or 3 times. Check in with the sway again and ask.

EXAMPLE RELEASE STATEMENTS

FEELING –

“I am ready to release hard red circle in my stomach when I think about work i release it from my
energy in all forms, on all levels at all points in time”

NUMBERS

“I am ready to release these 543 thoughts or beliefs about my work. I release it from my energy in all forms, on all levels at all points in time”

IMAGES

“I am ready to release this image of a brick wall in front of me. I release it from my energy in all forms, on all levels at all points in time”

Repeat step 4 until you have released the resistance around it.

You can ask the sway “Have I released this resistance about ________?”

If YES then you can move to step 5.

STEP 5 – YOU MANIFEST 

This time you get to choose what you experience . This is where you manifest your new future. Now you’re ready to allow a new belief, thought or pattern.

Choose a positive affirmative statement

“I am ready to receive/ create / feel / manifest/ experience “ (whatever the subject). I allow this into my energy, in all forms, on all levels, at all points in time.”

You should repeat this statement at least 3 times or until your body responds with a positive sway forwards (YES) when you are affirming. Keep repeating this statement until you feel it in your energy.

FEELING –
“I am ready to allow this big yellow circle of calm and confidence in my body when I think about work. I allow this into my energy in all forms on all levels at all points in time.”

NUMBERS

“I am ready to allow myself to have 100,000 new beliefs I am good enough. I allow this into my energy in all forms on all levels at all points in time.”

IMAGES

“I am ready to allow this new pathway to take me forward. I allow this into my energy in all forms on all levels at all points in time.”

You may find that when you first try the SWAY that your body is unresponsive.  There could be a number of reasons for this, but you should find it gets easier and more powerful over time.

Keeping your knees soft and your arms by your side, stand with your feet hip width apart.  You may find it easier to close your eyes.  Ask yourself a question that you know the answer to and notice your body move, you may feel a slight movement forward from your stomach or your chest.  I often simply ask “show me my yes” as I would when using a crystal pendulum and then “show me my no” to show me a negative response.

Once you have established your SWAY, you can ask any question that you want. Please remember that it is not a predictive tool and it can’t tell you things like this week’s lottery numbers. You can ask questions such as “is this in my highest good” but be aware that the answer you are getting is in response to what is in your energy at that moment in time.

 

Releasing resistance to your physical body

The easiest way to explain the 5 Steps of EAM is to take you through an example…

STEP 1 – YOU ASK

“Have I got any resistance to my physical body?”

STEP 2 – YOU MOVE

Allow your body to respond, swaying forward for a yes.

STEP 3 – YOU EXPERIENCE

Where in your body do you feel this resistance, has it got a shape or colour?

If you can’t feel or see it in your body or your energy perhaps you can give it a number.

You ask, “how many resistances have I got relating to my physical body?”

In most cases you don’t need to get an exact number – you can ask “is it around 10”, “is it around 100?”, “is it more than 100?”.  Keep asking until you get a figure to work with.

STEP 4 – YOU TRANSFORM

Repeat the following statement at least three times

“I am ready to release this (shape, colour, number) resistance from my energy relating to my physical body, I release it in all forms, on all levels and at all points in time.”

Go back to STEP 1 and check if you have any remaining resistance.  Once all the resistance has been released you can move on to STEP 5

STEP 5 – YOU MANIFEST

Repeat the following statement three times

“I am ready to align to embracing my physical body, loving it and accepting it as it is right now.  I allow this into my energy in all forms, on all levels and at all points in time.”

WHAT TO DO IF YOU CAN’T RELEASE THE RESISTANCE OR YOU START TO SWAY FROM SIDE TO SIDE

If you can’t release the resistance around what you are working on you may have an energy reversal.

In EAM we talk about our energy being in one of three states…

IN FLOW

The flow state is where everything is working out for you, the traffic lights are green, you get a parking space, everything is right in your world and your energy is moving forward.

IN RESISTANCE

When your energy is in resistance its as if it is snagged on something and is unable to move forward. This can be a thought, a belief, an experience or an emotion for example.

IN REVERSAL

When you have an energy reversal your energy is literally moving backwards. Your energy has stopped moving forward as a result of a thought, belief, an experience or an emotion for example but it would have been more of a shock to your energy than something that would have caused resistance and your energy starts moving in reverse.  Energy reversals are released in the same way as resistance just substituting the word resistance for energy reversal.

The more you practice, the easier EAM becomes. You become more in tune with your energy and your intuition will guide you if you let it (you can release any resistance to listening to or using your intuition 😉).
